DAY 1 – Arrival in Reykjavík
Upon your arrival at Keflavík International Airport, our private vehicle and tour guide will whisk you away to Reykjavik, Iceland’s vibrant capital city. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to unwind and immerse yourself in the unique charm of this bustling urban center before embarking on your epic journey across the Icelandic moonlike landscape.

DAY 2 – The Land of the Sagas
Start your day with a captivating Reykjavik city tour, gaining insights into the city’s history, culture, and contemporary vibrancy. Then, set your sights northwest as we venture towards Borgarnes. Be prepared to be mesmerized by the powerful Deildartunguhver hot spring, a testament to Iceland’s geothermal energy prowess. The wonders continue with a visit to Hraunfossar, a unique waterfall cascading from beneath vast lava fields. Witness the captivating Barnafoss waterfall, steeped in a tragic legend. Before retiring for the night, embark on a short hike to the summit of Grábrók volcano crater, treating yourself to breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding region and its expansive lava fields.

DAY 3 – From West to North
A breathtaking drive through mountain passes, lava fields, and verdant pastures as we make our way to North Iceland. The early afternoon offers an opportunity for a thrilling whale-watching expedition in Eyjafjörður, Iceland’s longest fjord. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of humpback and mink whales, harbour porpoises, and dolphins, as you soak in the natural splendour of this majestic setting. Continue your expedition to Akureyri, Iceland’s second-largest city where you can revel in the charm of Icelandic coastal life.


DAY 4 – Geological Wonders and Nature Baths
Prepare for a day of awe-inspiring discoveries as we commence with a visit to the magnificent Goðafoss, a waterfall steeped in both natural beauty and historical significance. You discover the wondrous landscapes of Lake Mývatn, where abundant birdlife and volcanic formations captivate the senses. At Dimmuborgir or on top of the Herfell crater you can truly feel the power of the earth.
You then soak in the surreal beauty of the Mývatn Nature Baths, indulging in a rejuvenating soak in mineral-rich, alkaline waters.


DAY 5- From North to East
You set out on a morning exploration of the region’s volcanic and geothermal landscapes further. This time you discover the hot springs, fumaroles, and bubbling mud pools of Námaskarð, and bear witness to the raw impact of volcanic activity at Krafla.
Further east, you marvel at the splendor of Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall, before journeying through the uninhabited highlands towards East Iceland. En route, make a stop at Möðrudalur to visit the charming church nestled within the farm, and savour the awe-inspiring vista of the mountain Herðubreið. As the afternoon unfolds, arrive in the welcoming fertile region of Fljótsdalshérað in East Iceland.


DAY 6 – Fjords and Glaciers
You meander through the dramatic fjord landscape, traversing winding roads that lead to the quaint fishing villages nestled within the East Fjords.
The grandeur of Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier, unveils itself suddenly as you reach the south. A stop near Skaftafell presents an opportunity for a tranquil boat ride amidst the floating icebergs adorning the glacial lagoon at Jökulsárlón. As the day concludes, find respite in the vicinity of Skaftafell, situated in the southern expanse of Vatnajökull National Park, amidst the ethereal charm of the Vatnajokull glacier region


DAY 8 – The Golden Circle and Reykjavík
A stop at the iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall and then the day commences. The famed attractions of the Golden Circle await, including the stunning Gullfoss, the captivating Geysir geothermal area, and the ancient Viking Parliament area of Þingvellir National Park. Round off this enriching day with a return to Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital city.

DAY 9 – Departure from Iceland
